If the voltage regulation of the transformer is graded, the speed regulation of the motor is also graded. If the voltage regulation of the transformer is stepless, the speed regulation of the motor is stepless.
Pole changing speed regulation

Electromagnetic speed regulation asynchronous motor (commonly known as slip motor) is a simple and reliable AC stepless speed regulation equipment. The motor adopts a combined structure, which is composed of a driving motor, an electromagnetic slip clutch and a tachogenerator. The tachogenerator is used as a speed feedback signal source for control. The stepless speed regulation of this kind of speed regulating motor is realized by electromagnetic slip clutch.
